Job Purpose:
The Evening Lodge Keeper at Postcard Cabins serves as the primary point of contact for guests during their stay, ensuring a positive and memorable experience. This part-time role involves providing excellent customer service, performing light maintenance tasks, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the lodge. The position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to upholding the company's values in a collaborative and inclusive environment.
Responsibilities
Provide excellent customer service by monitoring the Outpost for any potential issues that could disrupt guest interactions and experience.
Follow up with guest requests in a timely and professional manner; this may include performing light maintenance tasks.
Launder and fold all linen; major focus on spot-treating stains and extending the life of the linen.
Be willing to do any job that is needed by your team; work together, consider all points of view, and share the same mission.
Create and execute ideas to surprise and delight guests; aim to make every interaction personal, meaningful, and memorable.
Solve problems proactively in an efficient, effective, and professional manner.
Test new ideas, measure the results and embrace honest feedback in the spirit of always improving day-to-day operations.
Prepare for the following day's shift by packing linen bags, preparing welcome materials, re-stocking cleaning kits, and performing maintenance on cleaning equipment.

Requirements
Experience in a guest or customer-facing industry.
Ability to utilize technology and apps to work more efficiently.
Ability to work outside during all seasonal weather conditions.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Acceptable verbal English language and communication skills.
Ability to adapt and follow instructions with adequate comprehension skills.
Ability to move freely in and around obstacles and perform physical tasks.
